Fuel Systems

GKN designed a fuel system that was 77% lighter than the competitor

Tracked Road Wheels

Using GKN's unique road wheel manufacturing process, GKN was able to reduce the weight of the wheels by more than 227 kg (550 lbs) without affecting the structural strength of the wheel.

Light Weight Propshaft

GKN reduced approximately 27ks (60lbs) of a driveshaft on an application currently in production.

Improved Fuel Efficiency

GKN's breakthrough and patented counter track ^TM constant velocity technology is a differentiator in the vehicle market.  It has been proven to improve a vehicles fuel efficiency by up to 1%.
